WPS Fall CME Symposium 9/15; Low Resident Registration Rate   Message List

A Message from Dr. Morrison,

Welcome to the sixth annual Washington Psychiatric Society Fall CME
Symposium. Each year we bring to our members outstanding presenters on
cutting edge medical topics. WPS takes its responsibility to update psychiatrists
seriously. We believe that today's program ably carries on the
tradition begun in 2001.

To say that psychiatry is rapidly changing seems an understatement in
the current research climate. With new research expanding our abilities to
diagnose and treat disorders, all branches of medicine are changing rapidly. It is
essential that physicians embark on a course of lifelong learning to be
able to stay current and competent in this protean climate. The Washington Psychiatric Society's Committee on Continuing Medical Education is working to help keep our
members and the local community abreast of these new developments, to ensure that we
provide optimal care to our patients. Elizabeth A. Morrison, MD
