DBSA San Diego is a local (San Diego, California, US) support group for people with mood (affective) disorders -- depression or bipolar disorder -- organized under the national Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA). Ours is a peer-facilitated support group that is organized and run by volunteers. We include people diagnosed with mood disorders, their families and friends, and anyone else who seeks to learn more about depressive and bipolar mood disorders.

DBSA San Diego emphasizes education in all areas that relate to bipolar and depressive disorders including the identification of community resources available to help those affected by mood disorders. DBSA San Diego meetings regularly present guest speakers from the San Diego health and social services community.
