Hi All
I still really need people to complete my survey, so if you could help I'd
really appreciate it.
Thanks

"Creatively Coping with Cystic Fibrosis"
The purpose of the study
How adults cope with Cystic Fibrosis is an area of relatively little research.
However, it is an aspect of the illness that greatly affects people living with
CF, and becomes more an more important in an adult population as improved
medical technologies means people are living with their illness for greater
periods of time.
The best way to understand how people cope with their illness is to ask them to
self-measure their feelings on a number of different qualities.
The purpose of this study is to examine the influence on coping with Cystic
Fibrosis. This study is being conducted by Alyssa Ryan as part of the
requirements for the Psychology (Honours) degree at the University of Queensland
under the supervision of Dr Jason Connor.
Completing the online survey will provide invaluable information in this
research area. It is hoped that, by better understanding what personal factors
improve someone's ability to cope with Cystic Fibrosis, more progress can be
made when developing treatment programs.
Participation and withdrawal
Participation in this study is completely voluntary and you are free to withdraw
from this study at any time without prejudice or penalty. If you wish to
withdraw, simply stop completing the survey. If you do withdraw from the study,
the materials that you have completed to that point will be deleted and will not
be included in the study.
What is involved
Participants are asked to fill out several questionnaires about coping, quality
of life, creative expression, and mood state. Participation in this study will
take approximately twenty minutes.
