I would like to ask you a few more questions if you think they are too personal
you don't have to answer them. First, over what amount of time did your lung
usage drop that much? And what medsdo they have you on and how many times a day
do you do your breathing treatments? And do you have a vest? I am so sorry to
here yours is dropping and you are in my prayers.

Steph, I guess how you define normal would need to be outlined. I'm at 34%
but do remember 38% well. For me that was my big jump between short of
breath sometimes to now most of the time depending on exertion. Big drop of
energy at 38% but yet usually livable without an oxygen tank in most cases.
More bad days than at 40%. I was definitely unable to do a 9-5 on my feet
job. But others may be able to do that. I could walk and exercise but
nothing too strenuous. Running became difficult even in short spurts. At 38%
I needed IV's every 3-6 months because of infections. 38% is hard, CF is not
alot of fun. Do your best to try to hold or increase your lung function. It
can be done if you have the will. Lisa 44wcf

there that lives a normal life w/ that little lung usage and if so
please tell me how you do it. thanks
