hello to you all , my name is jenny , I 'm married to Shaun and we have three
lovely boys. Alex has CF , he is 11yrs old, Luke is 9yrs old, Conor is 5yrs old,
neither have CF. Alex is a lively boy who never lets things get in his way or
get him down , he has never been in hospital for treatment regarding his CF .
After reading some of your e-mails I know some of you make numerous journeys to
and from hospital, so I know we are extremely lucky. Alex was diagnosed when he
was 1 yr old . I was told by our health visitor that I was paranoid about
Alex's health because at the time I was a paediatric nurse. Alex was a gorgeous
baby but had diarrhoea constantly and failure to thrive . One month after the
name calling, Alex was diagnosed with CF, that health visitor never visited us
again, not even an apology. We have a fantastic CF team here in Middlesbrough in
the UK. Alex visits clinic every 6 weeks and if we have any problems we have a
member of the CF team on call for 24hrs a day for advice and open admission to
the PDU. I am really enjoying reading your e-mails and learning about how we
