I will pray for things to work themselves out for you. See his mom can't work
because he has a rather extensive treatment schedual that lasts from sun up to
sun down on a good day. I think she's at an appointment with the SS ofice right
now so maybe we'll find something out. thank you

Well, supposedly you can qualify if you've got CF but I've been having
one heck of a time with it. I'm a 37 year old who was diagnosed in
1968 and have been incredibly fortunate up until the last ten years or
so. The way I have gone about it is to simply start off by going to
the Social Security site online and start the application process.
Seems like an awful lot of hoops to jump through but I'm hoping that it
eventually works itself out. Within the last two years I had to stop
working and couldn't afford to keep up with the COBRA payments for
insurance so I'm sort of SOL right at the moment. As sad as it seems,
I feel as if I've got to almost hope my health deteriorates so that it
appears to be more of a no-brainer that I've got a disability. I'm not
so sure it's going to be possible to qualify without getting legal
assistance though.
Man, I've gone all my life doing all I could to try and make sure I
wasn't any different from anybody else and now I'm in a situation where
I'm almost hoping the disease makes me stand out. Isn't that just
pathetic?
