Effect of weather/humidity/mold on CF?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #720 of 1698 |
I have a four-year old niece with CF. She is constantly battling
colds/infections, and the family has been wondering lately if a
change of environment would be best for her.

We live in the Northeast. I understand that household mold and
humidity pose a threat to all people with lung conditions.

Is there any evidence that weather in certain states (FL, AZ) makes
it easier to treat CF?

I've searched the Internet, and all I've come up with is: cold
weather air is difficult for damaged lungs to process.

Somewhere, someone must have done a survey. Does anyone have any
ideas or suggestions where to locate more information?

Thanks.
