Dear Kristen,
What do you mean by abnormal? Are they borderline
high? Some varients of CF are known to cause
borderline sweat chloride results. Since you are an
adult and just being diagnosed then you should assume
you have a mild varient. It is unfortunate you have
to drive so far for testing, it appears not all
hospitals have a CF clinic. There are several other
diseases which mimic CF and cause high sweat chloride
results, have you elimiated these yet?
