I has thought for a while this is what my son had but it took a while
to get through all of the doctor to one that said this is what it was.
My son is 3 almost 4 and has some other problems that iterfeared with
the diagnosis of CVS. He has a hydocephilis and CP so every time he
would get a headache and vomited over and over the would thing it was
a shut problem so he has had many cat scans an xrays and nothing would
ever be wrong. and it would happen almost clock work every 2weeks or
so the headache and an I do not feel good and vomiting over and over
sometimes 10-20 times an hour. He has ended up in the hospital a lot
for this. I thought it was migrains because I get them not as often as
him and my stomach would hurt but I hardly ever vomit, but my mom does
and it just seemed like this was what was going on but to convince a
doctor that a child is getting migrains is not an easy thing to do. So
he has now been on the meds for a month and only had on episode I
think it was trigared by a cold and it was not as bad as before only
vomited a few times and then slept for a day. I am just glad to have
an answer.
