My 9 yr old daughter has had cvs since birth. She was misdiagnosed at

mos. They said she had reflux. By the time she was 4 she was having
episodes atleast once a year if not more. Four years ago a GI
specialist said something about abdominal migraines. Know it's 2005
and
my daughter was finally diagnosed with cvs. Her episodes were around
every 19 days and they last 4-5 days. She is on Periactin 2x a day
and
we keep everything as mellow as possible. She gets no chocolate. We
also found that the long car rides and positive excitement were big
triggers. It has been 22 days since her last episode and I'm praying
for another 22days without an episode.
