Re: L-Carnitor

My information suggest a dose of -- but each individual should be
treated under the care of their own physician:
Carnitor 100 mg/kg/day, divided into 2 or 3 dosages/day. Adult
dose: 3 tablets (330 mg each) three times a day.
Co-Q 10 mg/kg/day, only one dose/day. Adult dose: 300 mg/day - some
take 500 mg.

What we are finding is more response to the CoQ10, but the
researchers feel the Carnitine being taken is too low for most
people (Who are usually taking one 500 mg tablet).

coQ 10 should be gel cap, natural, from Japan, no vit E or soy.
Not everyone will respond but so far from the questions we have 13
responses, all taking coQ10, some of the 13 taking L Carnitine, and
one using Mg to abort, all having some positive results. We are
waiting for answers from others.

Maybe your MD would allow a trial of coQ10 in addition to the L
Carnitor?

I hope that this will be of some help, I remember those awful
frequent episodes with my daughter.

Ginny
