Hi there Judy,

We are currently working with Cranial Sacral Therapy. It's a form of massage
which has no greater touch than the weight of a nickel and it is concentrated in
the scalp and neck area. Our dr's told us that CVS is a migraine variant and
this particular therapy has a 90% success rate with migraines. In fact it is
primarily used to treat migraines. You can find out more about it on the web or
find a practitioner in your area by contacting the Upledger Institue through
their website. www.upledger.com It seems to be helping my son and there seems to
be a marked improvement. Even the Dr's are impressed at this point. Anyway, it's
worth a shot.

Subject: 84 year old with CVS-Help!

Hi, my father in law, Jack, has CVS. He is 84 years old (no typo!)
which is the oldest CVS case I am aware of. He has had it for about 9
years. He has taken every imaginable test including 2 trips to the
Mayo Clinic. I found CVS on a search a few months ago and his local
Doctor thinks it is CVS. He has found nothing else wrong with him.
Jack has recently had vomiting episodes every 10 days and they
wipe him out for 2 or 3 days-poor guy really suffers. The longest he
has ever gone without an episode is 5 weeks. He takes Elavil which
has seemed to help some (although not lately) and when he feels the
nausea coming on suppositories.

We are DESPERATE for help. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly
appreciated. Has anyone out there had success fighting CVS?

FYI we live in Ft Collins CO. We would travel ANYWHERE for help.

Thanks, Cory
