Hi,
i have a 3 year old boy. This june will be 1 year that he has had
repeated vomiting. He has seen a nephrologist to rule out kidneys,
he has had ultrasounds, upper GI's, urine tests, and next he has to
have a scope done next month. So far everything has come out clear
that nothing is wrong. He has been hospitalized for dehydration and
what they thought at the time was a ruptured appendix but wasnt. We
were shopping and he kept vomiting (which i have gotton used to now)
and within 2 hours his face turned white his lips started to crack
open and his eyes sunk and turned purple around them. We took him
to the er and told them he has a history of vomiting almost everyday
for a few weeks then it just stops then about 3 weeks later it
starts up again since june of last year. they took him back put him
on fluids and monitered him until he was able to sit and comprehend
things.
I am just worried about him. We cant get the doctors to tell us
anything. Everytime he sees the specialtist he asks so he spits
up. I have to tell them no he pukes. Everything he has eaten or
drank comes up there is no spit up about it. Then its like they
look at me as if im making him do it. Im just annoyed at the
doctors and worried for my son. does anyone have any suggestions or
can anyone give me advice to help me get through this.
