diagnosed last year. He's had this problem
since he was an infant. He is now 9yrs old. He has reoccurring
symptoms every 3-6months. His symptoms are sever vomiting and abdominal
pain, with HIGH fevers always range 102.1-104.3 with headaches and last
2-10days. Doctors missed diagnosed him with IBS. Irritable bowl sydrome
and had him on the rong medication since he was 4yrs old. Finally we
got him into a specialist and he finally diagnossed him with CVS.
Since we have tried different meds and now (keeping our fingers
crossed) we have him on a good medicine and has had fewer episodes.
Orginally he was on CYPRO (He had major side effects of Emotional and
angry out burst, crying spells, depression and anxiety. So they took
him off that medication right away. Now they have him on Depakote and
Periactin. Since the change hes had maybe 3 episodes. Hes been doing
much better! Hopefully this helps you.
