Hello
My name is Kim and I have a 2.5 yr old son with Cystic Fibrosis and
possibly CVS. He's had many complications in his big 2.5 yrs, mostly
vomiting. He's been hospitalized 21 times, twice in the last two
months. He's had issues swith motility and blockages when much younger
and we just couldn't figure out why he continued to vomit. He saw a
specialist in Boston that diagnosed him with CVS. I'm not really sure
if this is what he has or not. I've read some stuff on CVS. He is
taking cyproheptadine which I think has helped a lot. He doesn't throw
up 6-12 times an hour which I've read is a symptom. I can alway tell
when he's going to start and then we can no longer put anything in his
stomach because he will vomit. He dehydrates quickly due to the Cystic
Fibrosis so we usually end up in the hospital. I guess I'd like to
hear some stories to see if my Christopher sounds like that.
