Re: Need help please

My son's episodes are kind of similar to your daughters, mostly in the
fact that he only vomits a few times. He does, however, exhibit a
pattern. He was 2 when he started getting sick. He would wake up a
little pale, wouldn't want to eat and would say his tummy hurt. He'd
throw up with in a half hour and then often be fine, get his color
back and go on with his day. Sometimes his color doesn't come back
right away and I know that he's going to throw up again in about 30
minutes. The most he's ever thrown up was 4 times in 30 minute
intervals and then he's always fine. They come on randomly (I've been
keeping a record for 5 years) though stress and illness can trigger
them. My son was diagnosed on his first visit to the GI at UNC
hospital in NC. He did have to go through a long list of tests to
rule out anything else but all came back as expected. After reading
what some people go through I am extremely thankful that my son's
episodes are so mild. We have been hospitalized once (before
diagnosis) to run tests and his episodes are getting a little longer
as he gets older but I'm hoping he will grow out of it. Good luck, I
hope it's something treatable and not CVS!

C.S.
