RE: [Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome] Re: sick husband

I hope Kristin continues to be well !
Its great to hear of someone whose episodes have ended :)

Unfortunately for me - when I went to "The CVS Dr." (Dr. Edward Feldman at
Cedar's Sinai in Los Angeles) - he informed me that one requirement before
he would even see me was that I had already ruled all possible causes out
aside from CVS so I have already had allergy testing as well to no avail :(

That definitely is a good idea - for those who haven't been tested
especially. I have also read reports of certain foods being triggers for
others - I haven't ever had this - for me it's like most others here totally
"emotion" triggered.

Thanks for sharing this with us "Kristin's Mom"

Huggz and Prayers to you and yours!
Tina

My daughter whom is 15 now has had CVS for four and half years now and she
has alot of very bad episodes also. Her doctors also says stress,
excitement,
being angry or sad, it seems like anything can trigger this mess. Also we
took
her to a allergy doctor, after she had CVS for four years and we had her
tested for lots of foods and found out she's allergic to lots of different
foods, now she takes an allergy pill everyday and so far she has not had and

episobe since April of this year. She was having episodes every two to three

months and they lasted one week to two weeks at a time. So if you haven't
had
allergy tests done that might be and idea, after all these folks with CVS
has
been through allergy tests are nothing for them to go through. Good luck to
all
of you. Hang in there and keep praying for a cure.
