Re: [Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome] New to group

You just hang in there, There is lots of medications that doctors are trying
treat this illness with. Both of my kids have suffered with cvs. My son had
it for 5 constant years his episodes came on every three months and they
lasted two to three weeks at a time. He has not been sick in 7 years. Now my
daughter has it she has had it for 3.5 years now and her episodes come on about
every three months also just like her brother. Both of them were treated with
indural and protonix and alos amitriptyline these medicines seem to help. But
as far a keeping them in school they both had to have a home bound teacher
come in when they were sick they weren't able to go to school. I wish you lots
of luck for your daughter and i pray that the doctors will find the right
medicines for her episodes. God Bless you
