Welcome,
Once you find out about the dx of cvs, you search out a specialist in your area.
CVS has no cure BUT, you need to manage the symptoms. It takes a specialist and
different meds to find what will work for your dd. I bet you can find some
combination of meds that will help her and give her some hope. Try to contact
cvsaonline.org which is the official site of cvs sufferers. It helped us. There
is a message board which you must become a member and there are people you and
your dd can talk with. There are also supplements that might help, i.e. coQ10
and L-carnitine which I hope you will read up on this once you check out their
website. Good luck to you and your dd. \

My daughter (22) has recently been dx with CVS. She has been sick for
years when U of M finally gave us some answers. More questions than
answers really. This has been very hard on my daughter and I'm not
sure what the future holds for her. Perhaps I will have direct
questions but for now I just want to see how others cope and how they
manage to keep a job, attend school etc. I've really been in denial
about the whole thing but I know I have to come to terms with the fact
that my daughter is sick and may never be healthy.
