It is my understanding that you can have onset of CVS even as an
adult, although that is not our experience. What part of the
country do you live in? Finding a good gastroenterologist is very
important and there aren't that many familiar with CVS. I'm sure
you will get some good recommendations from this group. If you are
anywhere near Columbia, MO Dr. David Fleisher at University of
Missouri is the best. I agree with the person who told you to start
keeping records, this will help immensely with finding a diagnosis.
Most of all be persistent, help is available.
