Could this be CVS?   Message List

Hello Everyone,
My 17 year old son has been experiencing episodes of vomiting that
occur almost every morning. It started about 8 months ago. He will
usually vomit or retch 2-3 times and then will be fine for the rest of
the day. Although, he has had a couple episodes where the vomiting
lasted for several hours. I took him to the doctor and he was put on
Privlosec which seemed to help for a couple of weeks, but now the
episodes have returned. This is seriously interfering with school
because he's either late or doesn't go at all. One morning he even
vomited up some blood. Could this be CVS even though his episodes don't
seem to last as long as some of you here and this didn't start when he
was a child. Are there other things besides CVS that can make a person
vomit almost every morning like this?
