Humanity's Team Press Release                               For Immediate release.

Walsch Claims to all Major Spiritual Traditions that "We Are All One"

27th March 2007, Birmingham, UKBirmingham is to host the British leg of a world tour spreading the message of peace and oneness as part of a global campaign to cultivate greater spiritual awareness.

The Humanity's Team "Around the World in Oneness" Tour brings the message of best-selling author Neale Donald Walsch to the UK with a day-long schedule of activities and discussions to be held at Birmingham's Adrian Boult Hall on April 10th.

Walsch's books – the Conversations with God series – examine the foundations of the world's spiritual beliefs and urge readers to abandon ideas about God which do not serve us and which he says are the source of increasing violence and conflict across the world.

He set up Humanity's Team four years ago in a bid to create a worldwide grassroots movement based on the message of his books.

David Kirby, UK co-ordinator for the organization, said, "The tour is a major event for Birmingham and will create an important spiritual focus for people who wish to look deeper into the larger questions about God and their relationship both to each other and this higher power.

"This is an event aimed at everyone from all religions and cultures and is designed to promote the central message of Conversations with God, and indeed all major spiritual traditions, that we are all one, regardless of our background and upbringing."

As well as a keynote speech given by Walsch, the event – dubbed "A Day of Spiritual Renewal" – includes an evening satsung and music from guest singer-songwriter Lucinda Drayton.

Britain is one of 10 countries in five continents across the globe to be visited as part of the tour; the other countries are New Zealand, Japan, Portugal, Moldova, Germany, South Africa, Argentina, USA and Canada.

Conversations with God is a series of books written as a dialogue between the author and God covering life's big questions.  Walsch's candid and powerful examination of humanity and its struggle for fulfilment, peace and happiness lead him to a range of challenging and radical new perspectives on spirituality.

"Our idea of separateness is embedded in our cultural stories about who we are as human beings, and these stories have laid the foundations for some of the most damaging and destructive events in history, as well as continuing to get in the way of our living in peace as a race," continues Kirby.

"Through this day of activities and discussions we hope to offer individuals a fresh angle on spirituality while spreading the revolutionary idea that each of us is part of a greater truth."

Tickets for the event range from £25 to £60 for the different activities on the schedule, and can be booked by calling 0870-879-3880, or online at http://www.worldoneness.org.uk or http://www.htworldtour.org for events in the other countries being toured.

Humanity's Team Press Release                               For Immediate release

Humanity’s Team Dedicated to Challenging some of the Old Ideas Ingrained in our Culture

27th March 07, Birmingham, UK – A radical exploration of modern human values will be at the core of an event set to take place in Birmingham next month.

The Humanity’s Team "Around the World in Oneness" Tour will hit British shores on April 10 th for a day-long stop, bringing with it a challenging perspective on contemporary living.

Spearheaded by best-selling American author Neale Donald Walsch, the event will put Birmingham among a series of high-profile venues across the globe in a tour which will take in New Zealand, Portugal, USA, Canada, Germany, Japan, Moldova, South Africa and Argentina.

The event, taking place at Birmingham’s Adrian Boult Hall, will involve talks, discussions and workshops dedicated to helping participants cultivate new perspectives on themselves and their relationships to others.

David Kirby, who is UK coordinator for Humanity’s Team, said, “As well as putting Birmingham at the centre of a global movement, this day-long intensive event will act as a breath of fresh air to those desperate to make a change in the modern world.

“Humanity’s Team is dedicated to challenging some of the old ideas ingrained in our culture, which we believe are destructive.”

The organization, set up by Walsch four years ago, draws heavily on the author’s work through which he calls for a radical re-evaluation in people’s conception of themselves.

At the core of his writing Walsch describes how archaic ideas of "right" and "wrong", and fear-based cultural mythologies, are holding back humanity from reaching what he believes are the very achievable goals of peace and fulfilment.

Mr Kirby added, “It is a great honour to host this inspiring and unique author, who we believe offers a timely and important alternative approach to how we perceive ourselves and each other.

“He comes with a message that we are all part of the same thing, the same process of life; and the implications of this simple truth on modern society and culture are enormous.

“This is an exciting privilege for Birmingham and the UK as a whole.”

Tickets for the event’s various activities range between £25 and £60. For more information, or to book, call 0870 879 3880. Alternatively, visit http://www.worldoneness.org.uk  or http://www.htworldtour.org for other countries' events.
