Hi
Now the Holidays Season is behind us, we would like to ask your help to get the word out about the "Around the World in Oneness" World Tour.
I have copied below the initial press release about the tour and would be pleased if each one of you could forward this to Local and National News Papers.
Where appropriate, please add the local country details for the Tour Stop in your Country.
If we all work together to promote this event the marketing will be easy and effortless.
We also ask your help to fund the event.  All our funds are really stretched to put on this event on in a professional way.  If each one of us where to donate $20.00 dollars into central funds this would really make a difference.
Please visit: http://www.humanitysteam.org/contribute.html to make your donation.
Thank you for your kind contribution --  George E Lockett, Humanity's Team Marketing Programmes Coordinator.

2007 ‘Around the World in Oneness’ tour, sponsored by Humanity’s Team, unveiled at Celebration of Oneness expo

PASADENA, Calif., Dec. 8, 2006 — A global tour calling on humanity to recognize its oneness as a solution to the world’s crises will be unveiled by the Humanity’s Team spiritual movement at the Celebration of Oneness expo in Pasadena, Calif., Dec. 9 and 10.

“Around the World in Oneness” — spanning 11 countries on six continents from March 22 through April 29, 2007 — will feature keynote speaker Neale Donald Walsch, author of the best-selling “Conversations With God” series, supported by internationally known celebrities, politicians and spiritual leaders, coming together in an unprecedented alliance to proclaim, “We Are All One.”

The tour will also launch a five-year multi-organizational World Oneness campaign seeking worldwide recognition and support of “unity within diversity” as a primary organizing principle of the world.

“What is the ONE idea that can end all violence in the world?” asks Steve Farrell, the Humanity’s Team worldwide coordinating director. “What is the ONE idea that can build a lasting peace between diverse cultures? What is the ONE idea that can end hunger and poverty on every continent? What is the ONE idea that can restore our planet’s environment?

“This tour and the follow-on campaign will show that our unity is the ‘missing message’ that humanity is now ready to embrace.”

The 2007 tour — taking place at major convention centers, universities, cultural centers and hotels — will include high-profile stops in the following countries:

NEW ZEALAND — March 22-24, Auckland and Wellington

JAPAN — March 27, Tokyo

INDIA — April 1, Pune

— PORTUGAL — April 4, Estoril (Lisbon)

— MOLDOVA — April 7, Chisinau

ENGLAND — April 10, Birmingham

GERMANY — April 12-13, Offenbach (Frankfurt)

SOUTH AFRICA — April 15, Pretoria

ARGENTINA — April 22-23, Buenos Aires

— UNITED STATES — April 27-29, Atlanta

CANADA — April 29, Vancouver

“Thousands of people — particularly those experiencing conflict, war, hunger, disease and other forms of distress — will hear a call for unity alongside an urgent invitation to support the work of Humanity’s Team and the mission of the movement’s World Oneness campaign,” Farrell says.

The tour — collaborating with other groups and organizations that share its vision and goals — will also include grassroots activities to provide ways for people to get involved at local levels.

“If people collectively embrace the idea that we are all one with each other, one with life and even one with God, then people and entire societies would experience major shifts in their behaviors,” says Farrell, a former Silicon Valley serial entrepreneur. “Humanity’s Team views this as a realistic and concrete way of creating peace and harmony in the world and a necessary step in changing the current tide of events.”

Humanity’s Team is a spiritual movement whose purpose is to communicate and implement the belief that we are all one, one with God and one with life, in a shared global state of being, so that the behavior of humanity may shift to reflect this understanding. Dubbed “a civil rights movement for the soul,” the 3-year-old movement has some 15,000 adherents from more than 90 countries on six continents.
