I have just been to our nephews wedding - it was one of the most uplifting experiences and I feel so positive after it. I think that a true Christian Wedding is so much nicer than what passes for a wedding these days. The bride looked fabulous and stood at the alter, singing her heart out and clapping her hands and swaying to the rhythm - just brilliant.

I love to give Reiki to animals - they are so amazing and either love it or hate it. I had my beautiful little cat still when I did the Reiki I workshop, I came home from the weekend and sat down to chat to my husband and tell him about the experience, my little precious jumped on my lap and stayed there for 30 minutes receiving Reiki - after that, she would jump on my lap at every given opportunity and soak up all that I could give her - 20 or 30 times a day - she just loved it.
I think the idea of a mass healing day would be fantastic - is there any chance that we could organise it. Even if we could only get a 100 to do it - the power would be amazing. I have many contacts, I am sure that you do also. If we set a date about a month from now and send out the info to all of our contacts (including our Masters), then ask them to send the same message to all their Reiki contacts and ask them to do the same.... we could have a very very good. Lets do it Gill, lets set a date and ask not just the Reiki practitioners and Masters to do it but also all those with Spiritual Healing, after all, we are all going for the same goal no matter what healing we send.
Is anyone else happy to send to all their contacts to get this day off the ground?

Strange that a friendship was ended through your relationship with Reiki energy! Perhaps your friend was not in a space to accept your power, and the potential for power that must highlight in themself. I know I have discoved an unwillingness to accept personal power in my own circle of friends. There's a lot of, "oh, that's just the way it is, I can't change it" going on. It's great when they really get it that they can do stuff though! For example, after I did my Reiki I, my mum was very sceptical, and my brother then came to stay and did it too, with the result that now my mum is constantly requesting what she calls a 'double-whammy' from the two of us, and is also looking for a Master in her locality to teach her!
You mentioned healing with animals and plants. Yes, I find my connection is very strong with plants in particular. It feels to me like they have a bio-dome-like arc of energy over them! I've been giving reiki to my courgette plants since they were seeds, and one has come out bigger than a marrow!
I had the thought recently that it would be wonderful to set a specific date and time for Reiki practitioners all over the country, or else, starting a bit smaller, in a specific locality perhaps, to all send reiki to the planet and see if anything miraculous happens during the time. They've had great results doing this with mass-meditation in the States I hear! Hmm...
