The passing of Jason Patterson, Home With God

Greetings One,
I am sorry to be in the position to let you know that Jason
Patterson our WA State Coordinator has passed. Yesterday, he left to
walk his dogs and did not return. Today, his body was recovered near
his home in Port Orchard, WA.

I am writing to ask for your prayers and blessings for Jason's
family that they may get through this with the awareness that we are
all One, and life does not end, it merely renews and changes form.
With deep love and many blessings,
Amy Zook

Dear Amy,
I was deeply moved by a note Jason sent to me just a few days
ago. I published it right away on the website devoted to Letter To A
Prisoner.
Jason and I had communicated often, and in his position with
prisoners,he expressed support, sent funds and bought the books for
his prisoners.
I wanted to share it with you and everyone...

Joe,
I've been meaning to give you some feedback on your book, Letter to
a Prisoner. As you know, I'm the Deputy Warden at a small military
prison.
I put your book in our library where I've seen several prisoners
read it and talk about it among themselves. They can certainly
identify with the content and it helps them focus on their
situation. As you know, prison is a place where great changes occur
within the soul and outwardly in an individual's life. Your highly
effective book dovetails right into our reading program and our
chaplain's motivation programs. People are 'ripe' for change during
this process and your book helps them focus on their short and long-
range goals.
Just wanted to thank you for your thoughtfulness and wonderful book.
No doubt, it has helped many a prisoner...and a few staff members,
too!
Thank you very much,
Jason Patterson
Director of Correction Programs

Though saddened by the loss of such a personality, I'm grateful for
having
had the distinct pleasure to have known Jason and wish him Godspeed.

Hi Joe,
Thank you for sharing your communications with Jason. I can't help
but know that Jason was a Highly Evolved Being and is now having a
new and wonderful experience. I am hoping to put together a little
something about Jason to share with TeamMates, especially here in
WA. Your letter inspires me to write and honor the work he did with
prisoners. I just spoke with him Monday and he truly had passion for
his work and the people he worked with. He also mentioned you and
his desire to do more with you. In fact, every time we spoke he
talked about you. He sincerely had great feelings of connection with
you. I often told him that the inmates in the prison were truly
fortunate to know him and that prisons everywhere would benefit from
all he gave. He was truly an inspiring, loving, and beautiful
person. And I too am grateful for having known him.
Thank you for reaching out. If there is anything I can do please let
me know.
Love and hugs,
Amy Zook
