Hi there,
in response to your questions, my experience is that it is possible to heal oneself. I think that for me, healing is moving energy around so that it goes where it's most needed. I can draw energy in from outside sources, from the universe itself, and sent it in a specific direction. Often I don't even know where it needs to go, so I just trust that the energy knows (there must be an innate intelligence there, as for example, no one tells electricity how to earth, it KNOWS!) It's also wonderul being healed by another, and I can help the process along by directing energy to myself as well.
I used to imagine that "some people are just born with the ability to heal", they can, and I can't, and that's the way it is. That's not how I feel anymore, because I recognise the amazing results that have been created by so many millions of people, in all ways, ie. I've heard of the power of prayer - phemonenal! What I think is that we all of us have the inborn ability to manipulate energy, to work with the magic of life and of God, and that many of us have forgotten, or, like a guitar that's never played, have gotten out-of-tune, so we just need a but of a tune-up.
I did a course in Reiki healing, during which my master/teacher attuned me to the energy so that I now can really feel it flowing through and around myself when I heal.
When healing is 'empowered' by God, I take that to mean the God that every one of us is a part of, so therefore healing can be just as empowered by a person as by God, since they're one and the same. And I like the fact that whenever I thank God for something, I'm actually thanking Everything and Eveyone which is God.
I would love to hear others' thoughts on self-healing. How do you envisage/create that?
Blessings,
Gill
