Thanks Kiki. The problem is in your use of the term "UT" (Urine
Therapy). Urine Therapy is not only the recycling of urine, but is
also fasting. When you recycle, it is not only fluids, but CALORIES,
which are going back into you. By your own admission, now that you
are recycling, your diet remains the same as before. This means that,
with the exception of the urine not reabsorbed into the blood stream
(the urine which passes out in a loose stool), you have doubled your
intake of calories!
Try to be more scientific in your thinking. The answer is all too
obvious: When recycling one's urine, unless you want weight gain, it
will be necessary to cut your food (calorie) intake by at least half.
Another problem is that when fasting or dieting, we burn less energy
and we find exercising to be more difficult, so we exercise less.
This overall fatigue and lethargy burns less calories than when one
is bolstering one's energy by eating. - Dr. J.

Subject: UT & Weight Gain
Hi- I've been here for awhile, just reading the posts that come
through and thought I may as well ask some questions, if that's ok.
I've been doing UT for three months now- drinking midstream, morning
urine. Sometimes I've used it topically too and have found it makes
my skin soft. My main concern, however, is that I've been steadily
gaining weight since I began UT; have gained about 15 pounds in the
past three months. I haven't really changed my diet much or
anything, so I think this weight gain is directly related to UT. Is
this normal and does it level off? If I keep gaining weight, is
there a reason for it? Any insights you may have would be very
helpful, since I'm not happy about getting fat at all!!
TY for the forum,
Kiki
