As part of the February American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, $11.2 billion
was included for IDEA Part B. Part B funds are used for Special Education -
they are intended to support school districts to ensure their funds are not
decreased due to the economic downturn. Here is a website where you can check

The first half of these funds were available immediately and the remaining funds
to be distributed July 2010 - they must be used within a specified amount of
time.
