Re: [cuan-listserve] Mind Your Manners!

The Autism Program Resource Room has some books that might work for you.  One is Autism & PDD Picture Stories and Language Activities Social Skills with Family by Patricia Snair Koski.  There is another book in this series which is Social Skills at Home which might be good.  We also have a video, "Look Mom I have Good Manner" but it seems to be for an older child.  Lastly, we have Model Me Kids videos which cover a variety of areas and might have what you're looking for.  The first two books can be seen on-line at www.linquisytems.com.

Subject: [cuan-listserve] Mind Your Manners!

For my 3 1/2 year old, I mean. I'm looking for good, relevant manners
books that deal with topics like the dinner table, using a "nice"
voice, sharing toys and other basic preschooler stuff. I have had it
with writing my own stories and would like to find a good list or
series of books for our home library. Who can suggest some
authors/titles/ series for me?

The Berenstain Bears books that you can get for $3 or $4 each is a good series - they explore many topics and are very kid friendly. At 3 1/2 years of age,...
