My 4 1/2 year old son will be starting kindergarten in the Fall. He
has PDD-NOS. He currently attends Early Childhood special ed services.
His class contains 7 kids and 3 teachers. He will be transitioning
into a regular classroom next year. He has sensory issues, behavior
problems, and ADHD; but, he also has an amazing vocabulary and memory.
I am sitting down with a consultant to help me develop plans for his
IEP before taking it to the school. Last year's IEP was a mess! They
wrote it up before I came in and just read it to me at the meeting!
His goals were all achieved the summer before he even attended school!
If any one has suggestions as what should be included or any advice
from experience please let me know!
