I would like to add how excited TAP (The Autism Project) has been that Dr. Chris Menard has increased his availability to do testing of kids to determine whether they are falling on the autism spectrum. In addition, I believe that Health Alliance (HAMP) has an arrangement to use him as a provider and cover approximately 80% of his fees. Thanks for posting, Chris!!! And welcome!

I wanted to pass along some more information about seeing Dr. Morton at Carle. Carle has a Child Diagnostic Clinic which is directed by pscychologist Dr. Andrea Klein, Ph.D., ABPP. This is a multidisciplinary group where your child can be seen by Dr. Klein as well as Dr. Morton, speech pathologist, occupational therapist, audiologist, social worker and psychometrist. As a group, they then provide a diagnosis and develop a comprehensive plan for home and school as well as appropriate therapies and services.

Because it is not known of as well, the waiting list as of now is much shorter.
