Hi all!
I had Crohn's Colitis and had my entire colon removed last year. I also have
arthritis through the body. Of course I have been told for years not to take
any NSAIDs and the only pain reliever I can take is Tylenol. Well, I don't take
Tylenol anymore because liver enzymes have been elevated in the past due to all
the drugs I have been on in the past. There have been articles and an arthritis
doctor says that it's OK to take drugs like Celebrex, that it doesn't show
causing a relapse of Crohn's.
Just wondering if there is anyone out there in the same situation and is taking
Celebrex, Vioxx, etc., without a relapse. Needless to say, I am scared to death
of the Crohn's coming back; I just am going back to work after 8 months. But
the arthritis is really acting up especially in the hands and the job I do is
pretty physical, working in healthcare.
