I had a painful episode that sent me to the ER a month and a half ago and that was what led to the ultrasound that diagnosed the polyp.  I don't meet with the surgeon for another two weeks so I'm not sure what their opinion will be about removing the gallbladder.  Is there any specific food that you eat or avoid to avoid a gallbladder attack?  Sometimes I am so fearful to eat because I don't know how my body will react. Thanks for the reply!

Hi!
I have ulcerative colitis, but it is in remission through Asacol and was just found to have a polyp in my gallbladder. I was wondering if anyone else has any experience here. I'll have to decide whether or not to have the surgery and how it might affect me in the future.

Thanks
Kelly
