between my bladder and intestines. Whoever gave me the idea to get my
dr to do the cat scan, i thank you big time and it makes me glad im
involved in this group:)
My dr did a colonscopy on me and said that i have air in my bladder
and that i probably do have a fistula but he couldnt see it.
So Thursday i went to the urologist and he looked in my bladder(which
was neat, i saw my bladder) and he saw the fistula pretty quick. He
dont know how big it is, so on the 30th i am having a more in depth
test ran to see how big it is.
If its small, they will treat it with probably remicade to close the
fistula up, but if its a large fistula(which is my luck) they will
have to do surgery and resect my intestines, which from what ive heard
is not a fun vacation to take from work.
What is the recovery time for this type of surgery? and will i have to
wear a bag? Please, can someone give me some info on what i can expect
if i have to have surgery?
