Hi Steph,
I'm from Indiana, too. I was diagnosed with UC in March 2003. Right now, I'm on 3 Asacols 3 times a day, doc wants to start reducing, but I freaked and said no, not yet. I've been doing pretty good, but it has taken so long to get to this point.
Hang in there; and be persistent if the drugs you're on aren't helping.
