Hello there all. My name is Steph and I have just been diagnosed with
UC in the last few months. It has been tough for me because I already
have another chronic illness and at 29, this was not what I expected
in the arena of health. I am still an active adult with a full time
wonderful profession, I have a great partner and wonderful furry
children (2 dogs and 2 cats). I have been on Canasa for my UC symptoms
but so far I do not think it is making me better and sometimes I think
it increases my symptoms. I have an appointment with the doc tomorrow.
I am so fatigued most of the time because I have fibromyalgia too so
that also takes it toll. I experience frequent joint pain and I am not
sure which disease is the cause but which ever the outcome is less
than desirable. Well I just wanted to intoduce myself and look forward
to meeting everyone and giving and getting support. Also is anyone
from Indiana?
