Does anyone have other colitis complications such as eye
inflammation? I've been fighting retinal vasculitis with vitritis and
secondary glaucoma since February. Had no idea that it could be
related to my ulcerative colitis that was diagnosed 18 years ago and
in remission for 17 years! I spent 3 days in Rochester MN at the Mayo
clinic last week and am returning again next week. They think my
colitis is flaring up, but manifesting in my eyes instead of colon.
When I was diagnosed, my entire descending colon was involved. Drs
also asked if I have any arthritis like condition, like in my hands
and feet or other joints and BOTH my husband and I at the same time
said a big "YES!" My hands have been really bothersome this last
year. I had surgery on my right foot at age 42 already.

Anyway, thought I'd ask if anyone else suffers from other colitis
complications.
