Sorry to hear of your dilemma. I took Remicade and developed an allergy and could no longer take Remicade. I am now taking Humira (weekly shots) and what a difference. Humira is very much like Remicade except that it is a shot rather than an infusion that takes hours. I am very happy with the results and have been on it for one year with no side effects. I seldom have diahrrea and the added surprise for me is that I now have energy that I did not have for more than a year.
Good Luck. Let us know what you and your doctor decide.

Have they increased your dosage of Remicade? They started me on the
standard 500 mg/kilo and i didnt see any improvement either. On my
last infusion they increased my remicade to 750 mg/kilo and i have
started to see imporovement.
