The following prayer request has nothing to do with crohns or colitis
except that it is being posted by me, a crohn's sufferer. I know that
many of you pray and I wanted to get this in front of as many people as
possible:

Please pray for Dr. Shamaiayah and his family. Dr. Shamaiayah and his
family, including their young son George, left for Lebanon two weeks
ago. Shamaiayah is my children's soccer coach and George is also on the
team. As Christians they felt compelled to return to their homeland to
witness to their families there during the summer break and had been
scheduled to return at the end of July. They are in Lebanon now where
if any of you have seen the news you know the situation is grim. As
Christians it will be worse for them as the only possible escape from
Lebabnon is over land through Syria. If any of you have ever lived or
known people from Muslim countries then you know how desperate their
situation is as arabs having converted to Chrisitanity. Please pray for
them and their safe return to the U.S.A.
