i was kind of hoping that asacol helped reduce his trips to the bathroom....thus if they didn't dissolve, it creates an ugly circle our doc says it could be an unrelated stomach issue like a bug, so we are giving it a few days to see what happens.

I would check with the docs but it should stop happening when the trips to the bathroom slow down.
