I have have a mild case myself. Only having one or 2 major flare ups
a year. The only meds i'm on are asacol. I also take vitamin E, C
fish oil and multi vitamins. I figured out that dairy gives me cramps
and loose stools. When I get bad flare ups that dot go away I have
gone to the doctor and they have perscribed steriods.
For myself, I found eating less dairy like cutting down milk and
cheese and yogurt helps. I drink soy milk now and once you get used
to it is not that bad.
Also I've read about aloe vera juice having good digestive qualities.
And am now im my second week of taking it. I'll keep you all posted
as to any effects good or bad.
Hope that helps.
