flare up

Hello again everybody. it's been a while since i was last on here. i'm
lucky enough to only have 'mild' UC....but i suppose it can always get
worse.i've been ok since Feb 05 but i'm in the middle of my first real
flare up. gotta say its as worse as it has ever been and i've had to
take some time off work. i havn't taken my meds since Feb 05, i'm on
Asacol and Colifoam.....certainly using it now though. i had to get up
last night for a wee and passed wind, found myself stood in a puddle
of blood and diareah......nice eh.does anyone have any advice of
coping when in flare up?? i'm trying not to eat much but i still have
a good appetite, i've heard some people take supplements when in flare
up instead of eating, like fortisips (milky drinks with vitamins).
Does anyone hold any faith in those yogurts with bividus digestivum in
helping??
