Hi Patt,
I too had a reaction to Remicade, so can't take it
anymore. We were looking at Humira if I needed it,
because it is less likely to cause a reaction.
Remicade has bits from mice, so we are more likely to
have a reaction to it. Humira is fully humanised, so
we are less likely to have a reaction. I was told with
Remicade as well, that taking an immunosuppressant
such as Imuran or 6MP can reduce the likelihood of
reactions, I don't know if this is also true for
Humira.
