I am new here and reading a little. I agree the prep was
terrible....they did not allow me anything solid...only liquids and
light colored jello etc. I had to drink the saline laxative once the
night before and then the morning of the colonoscopy. This time I
made sure to request they really get me put under because I woke up
the last time several years ago...they were hurting me with the
scope. This time did not recall a thing. I do dread the next time
though.

This test is no big deal. They will sedate you so you won't feel much. The prep is yucky if they do Colyte, but if the do the ginger drink it isn't terrible....
