My name is Phil and I just got Dx'd with Crohn's
about 2 months ago. I was first hospitalized with Pancreatitis,
although I feel as I never had it. My Lipase was very high (600) and
it should be around 50. But I no pain associated with my Pancreas.
After the doctor found out I don't drink, he said it was caused by a
virus.
After 3 weeks of severe pain and all the other good stuff that goes
with Crohn's, I had a colonoscopy. The biopsy came back as positive
for CD. I do feel very lucky however, many people have this alot worse
then me. The main thing that freaked me out was the fact that it was
affecting my other organs. I am on pentasa and so far I am feeling
alot better. I look forward to reading everyones stories and I hope
you all are doing well.
