Hi. My name is Sue. Finally have found some free time to join a group

everyone who has offered their experience and advice, as well as
questions. Very helpful. Does anyone out there have experience with
trichotillomania - in children? I have a 6 yr old client who pulls
her hair out; a lot of it. She has had only 2 haircuts in her entire
life. Here's the kicker....she was violently vacuumed extracted at
birth. Not only was her cranium malformed but she was also left with
profound bilateral sensory hearing loss. So far CST has improved
sleeping to some degree and self regulation, and reduced hair pulling
frequency. She still struggles with sensory modulation; attention
span and emotional stability. Hair pulling does increase during
periods of stress (which is also increasing with the advent of
school) Her tissue only accepts minute amounts of work. We've been
working together on & off over 1 1/2 years now. She asks to have CST
done now...which is a milestone. I am very, very patient with her,
but is there any time when you might try to entice a slight push into
such a guarded system (which I think she possesses)? Any suggestions?

I myself feel that Neurocranial Restructuring can be an excellent adjunct to craniosacral work. Also yoga, also sungazing, in moderation. All these things...
