Fictional CRI, Re: no response?

Im surprized at the silence!
Finally, as your moderator, I will add my inflammatory two cents:
The first thing I teach my students in palpation is that "the rhythm"
is useless and probably fictional! At least we can assume so, as long
as rigorous research fails to validate it. Ive even felt the CRI on a
plastic skull model... TRY IT!

Being liberated from the delusion of the existence of the CRI,
rigorous reseach should be continued regarding statistical clinical
OUTCOMES! There is no doubt in any practitioners mind that cranial
therapy is efficacious- where is the controlled research on symptom-
specific outcomes?? Having established the non-existence of the CRI,
lets move on!

(I also teach the rhythms that Upledger doesnt: Potencey Tide, Long
Tide and Dynamic Stillness, all of which are experienced by the
diligent practitioner and none of which have ever been established by
rigorous research... so sue me!) -gl
