I'd point out that Rife's original devices never touched the patient with pads or any electrical connection, but rather used plasma tubes which bathed the patient in radiation of the appropriate frequency. I've heard claims that both ways are superior, so it's anyone's guess.

One other thought: I'm not sure if you can control the amplitude digitally on this one. The specs aren't really give.

As usual, a good return policy will go a long way in raising your comfort level with this device.
