I'm not new to this group but I haven't been around in a long time. Most of your
stories sound exactly like mine. I was diagnosed with costo 3 years ago. I had a
full time job which I love and had to resign because of this pain. The problem
with me is that I cannot sit for more than a few hours, especially when working
in front of my computer. Right now I am lucky to be able to work from home. I
can work only a few hours and then I have to lay down. I recently bought a
laptop table(like a food tray) called the laptop laidback portable table. It has
help me somewhat becasue I can actually lean back on my bed and work. It takes
some getting use to.
I pray that we all get some relief. I had every test under the sun, injections,
massages and nothing seems to help. My worst time right now is mornings. I feel
so much pain, fatigue and depression. For those of you getting injections,
please be very careful. I had 3 injections and my cholesterol, sugar, blood
pressure and liver enzymes went through the roof. I decided to stop the
injections because I was getting no relief and everything went back to normal.
Hoping you have a pain free day.
