I have scheduled 3 procedures with Rosenstock Lieberman for late May
2008: neck lift, lower face lift, and eyelift.  I also have
reservations at Las Cumbres.

I'd appreciate any information on experiences with this clinic,
especially if you had any of these procedures done.  I'm also
interested in reactions to this recovery hotel, and would also like to
visit with anyone who is going there at the same time.  I'll be there
from May 22 to June 4; the actual surgery date is May 26.  My husband
is accompanying (even though he insists I don't need this, I look
beautiful to him, etc. etc., God bless him) but would enjoy having a
fellow patient to share the experience with.

now he lives and practices in Costa Rica.  He's an excellent team

My name is Donna and I am researching and getting ready for a trip to
Costa Rica for a much-needed tummy tuck (10 pregnancies) and a breast
lift/augmentation (breast feeding!!) I am almost 45 years old and I
am planning to have this done in February 2008.

I would appreciate any and all advice about procedures, doctors,
places to stay, etc.

My boyfriend will be accompanying me on this trip, so I will not be
alone. I admire anyone that could do that, but I just would be so
afraid I think....yes, I am chicken and can be a baby when it comes to
being in pain. Anyone know about pain relief for this kind of thing?
Tell me it's not biting a stick....or something like that !!

Great photos and dialogue. Care to divulge who "Dr Jeff" is?

Since I went for surgery, but due to my atrial murmurs could not have
procedures, I can't say what the outcome would have been.
I can say that staying at Las Cumbres was very nice experience.  Food
was great and friendly, competent staff.  all very helpful.
If I can go back to the Rosenstock clinic for surgery later this year I
will.  Good luck.  Enjoy your trip.

I had lipo at Rosenstock-Lieberman in March and the
results were really impressive. I had five liters
removed, which is a LOT, but my results are very
smooth and symmetrical, and my scar tissue is now
gone.

I am researching having some cosmetic surgery in CR.  I have pretty
much decided on Dr. Araya and also to stay at Villa Le Mas.  I
appreciate any feedback.  I considered CheTica Ranch and although it
looks wonderful I thought it might be too far from the hospital.
Anyone have any comments or feedback they can share?

Well, I had a breast reduction at the same time, and
my total cost was $7000...I think the total for the
lipo was $3400, and I had waist, sides of back, sides
of breasts, upper and lower abdomen, inner thighs,
inner knees, and some on the hips. Of course, the
total price included all surgical fees, anesthesia,
overnight stay in the surgical facility, post-surgical
garments, prescriptionsand all follow-up visits.
That's pretty much the norm in Costa Rica, although I
know those costs are not included in the states.

I had an excellent experience, breast reduction and 5
liter lipo on 3/16/07.  Dr's Cohen and Rosenstock were
kind and helpful, and the work I had done has been
greatly admired here in the states, especially the
breast reduction, which is a surgery that often comes
out very badly.

I had intended to have a tummy tuck, but the dr's felt
I would not be please with the results and gave me a
very lovely result with the lipo.

I was also very impressed with the results of the
facial surgeries I saw in the waiting room--my mother
and I will both be having an upper bleph in five
years, and I will certainly be going back to
Rosenstock based on what I saw there.  There were
ladies at my recovery home who also had blephs done
and had much more bruising and swelling.

perfect results.  The media love controversy.

Do your research... find out as much as you can about any doctor you are
interested in.   Michelle the owner of this list is an American RN who has
been working With plastic surgeons in Costa Rica to become a licensed RD in
Costa Rica.  She has had several procedure there.... I'm sure she can answer
a lot of questions... and point you toward many sources for your research.

 I will be out there for surgery also at that time. We (my mom is going on a vacation with me) fly in 5/8 and my surgery is 5/10 @ 7 am, and planning to go home June 1st! I'm not quite sure where we are staying, it is still up in the air. Actually all the places sound really nice, we plan on being there for a little over 3 wks.I am from New Hampshire. I am looking forward to the surgeries, abdominoplasty, tighten abd. muscles, lipo there, and also to outer thighs, inner thigh lipo and lift, mons lift, and breast lift with implants.
